In the winter there is ice skating and bobsledding on the pond. My home is light and bright featuring expansive glass, skylights, light wide floor boards, wooden ceiling beams and happy colors! It features 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, living, dining and TV rooms plus a glass sun room. The kitchen is spacious and connects with the solarium overlooking the pond and beautiful flowering gardens. Outside there is a brick pathway which leads to lounge chairs, gas grill and eating area. Relax and enjoy cocktails sitting amid the iris, lilies, azaleas, and daisies!
Darien is approximately 45 min. from NYC and its Broadway shows; 1 hr. to Historic Mystic Ct.; 2 hrs. to famous Watch Hill, R.I. oceanfront complete with oldest carousel in America; 2 hrs. to Block Island beach resort; 2 hrs. to the Hamptons in N.Y.; 2 hrs. to the Jersey shore; 3 hrs. to Historic Newport, Rhode Island; 3 hrs. to Boston, Mass. 4 hrs. to Nantucket Island and Martha's Vineyard; 5 hrs. to Vermont; and 4 hrs. to Maine. (Hours represent approximate driving times). There is so much to see and do in CT!!!!!!
