"I listed my home in Alameda, Ca for rent at the end of November, 06, with some pictures from my site when the house was for sale. Two days later I had a call from a lady who wanted to rent it for a week at Thanksgiving because she was spending time in the area with her parents. I was not prepared for such a quick response so I turned her down but she called a week later and asked to rent it for the month of December and possibly January. This was unexpected, once again, but I certainly could make arrangements to take my personal items out of the home since I was renting it fully furnished. One of her parents was ill and she has since decided to continue renting on a month to month basis with the possibility of buying the house this year, moving up from Las Vegas. About the only advice I could give perspective landlords is that when they use your site, have the home ready immediately, just in case. I had to make a few trips to remove my personal clothing and other items from this large lovely home on the Bay.
