Overview
The Piers at Penn's Landing are successful, established condominiums. The residences here are woven into the beautiful and powerful structure of two historic buildings with an interesting past. The industrial facades of Pier 3 and 5 grace the Riverwalk, a landscaped promenade along the waterfront and Columbus Boulevard that celebrates Philadelphia's maritime history. The unique location of the Piers at Penn's Landing both practical and picturesque. The Delaware River functions like a castle's moat, enhancing the privacy of the community, while providing views of water, boats and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Fireworks are visible from many living rooms on some holidays.

DO NOT RENT from this guy Frank. I was there for a six month job that ended early because of the WGA/SAG strikes. I talked to him and he offered to end my Lease early with I thought was nice, otherwise would've paid out the month but I had to leave asap as per our terms(two days later). He asked to Keep the security deposit because I may come back but six months later IM broke and not going back and he won't return my security deposit even though I left the place in immaculate shape. I thought he was be nice but in the end like most landlords he was just trying to rip me off, so now my union and I have to take him to court with is a huge waste of time, so learn from my lesson. There are no good guy landlords.
I rented this apartment for about 6 months and location is great, Great apartment. Frank was awesome and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
I rented this unit for a full year and found it was just what I hoped it would be: convenient, relaxing, safe, and comfortable (and with a spectacular view from the balcony). I especially appreciated the parking garage - I drove back and forth to the Navy Yard every day, and it was so great to have an inside parking space that was always there. Trying to find a parking place on the street in Philly is rediculous, so it is really nice having the pedestrian bridge over to Old City that allows you to walk to all the famous sights and many good restaurants in just a few minutes. The only time I really needed my car, other than going to work, was to drive to the local Target for groceries, since there really isn't an alternative within walking distance. The rent does seem expensive when you first look at it, but once you add up what you would have to pay extra for in most places (parking, gym, indor pool, etc), it is actually reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know.
5 star all the way. First off, Frank was very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. From our first phone call to handing over the keys, he was professional, polite, just a great guy to interact with.
The unit was by far the cleanest unit I have ever stayed in. And it had everything I needed. Updated appliances, new televisions (smart tvs, didn't have to miss my netflix shows), and the view was amazing. Parking was always available, even in the late late evening. The staff was always pleasant and always said hi. Neighbors were quiet and was never bothered with noise or disturbance.
The location was ideal. So close to Old city for great food. Right by Penn's landing for great walks and views. You have a grocery store near by and a movie theater near by as well.
I really have nothing negative to say about the unit, Frank, or the experience. 5 star all the way. I would highly recommend this unit for any professional that needs to have a place that's fully furnished, clean, and great location.
5 Star Home, Location and Service!!! My wife and I recently got re-positioned due to work from the West Coast to the Philly area and needed a place to stay for a couple months while our new home was still under construction. After searching the internet for a little while we got lucky and found this gem! Pristine modern unit that is extremely well kept with everything you need to live comfortably. Perfect location that is close everything in Old City, yet still on a nice quite part of the river with a great view of the bridge. We could not ask for better service from the on-site concierge and working with Frank through every part of the visit from moving in, help during our stay and an easy departure. The only bad part was the place was so nice it made us sad to leave. We still miss the easy walk to all the great restaurants!
Lived in this apartment for 3 months ago while relocating to Philadelphia from the West Coast.
Positives: Location was excellent. The apartment is small but well furnished and stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. Parking was always available. Front desk staff is very friendly. Gym was available, but small and cold in the winter. Best spot to watch fireworks on NYE.
Negatives: The unit is expensive even by furnished apartment standards. Frank was completely overbearing. He was actually monitoring our thermostat use through his Nest App. I never felt comfortable in the unit, because I felt like he was always checking up on things and judging us on how we were keeping the place up. Took a large chunk out of my security deposit for a supposed "scratch" on the side of the tub. No one is as OCD as Frank and he expects you to be the same.
Fantastic apartment. Stayed here 2 months and nothing but a great experience. The best location to enjoy all the city has to offer and still come home to a peaceful night with friendly neighbors and reception staff. The apartment is fully modernized and has all the conveniences of home, so you just need to bring your clothes and toothbrush. Frank is outgoing, helpful, friendly and very accommodating. He makes sure all your needs are being met and keeps you informed of what is happening in the building. I would recommend this place to stay for the long term. Thanks Frank!
Great apartment. Clean, lovely apartment in immaculate condition. Parking is convenient and great restaurant is on location at the pier. View of the Ben Franklin bridge is amazing. A really terrific place!
My wife and I stayed at Franck’s condo during 2 months. We had a wonderful time! The apartment is large, with nice furniture, the view is amazing (river + bridge), the kitchen & bathroom are very clean and the facilities are great (gym, pool, and parking). The location is also very good (old city) and you can find pretty much everything within walking distance. As for Franck, he is very kind, he gave us a tour of the facilities the day we arrived and he made sure everything was perfect for our stay. In sum, I definitely recommend this place!
I stayed at Frank's condo for 2 months with my Wife while my home was being renovated. The condo was clean and comfortable to stay in. The owner Frank is a very nice guy he showed us how all the electronics, cable & internet and HVAC system worked and texted me to see if we were okay after the first week, he did not monitor us like I read in another review. The condo has indoor gated parking, a gym & indoor swimmng pool. This condo is in a great location, with a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. We walked to some great shops & restaurants in Old City. I would give this more stars if I could, we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a immaculate clean condo. Thank you Frank
