Think of all of the money that can be involved in promoting your listings. The cost of your time. The cost of gas to travel to appointments, brochures, etc. 81% of United States renters use the internet and virtual tours when searching for a rental, and only 15% tour the rentals. Why inconvenience yourself and your renter? Once you’ve spent an hour or less creating a virtual tour, you have essentially created a round-the-clock online open house that buyers can conveniently experience from their home or office computer. They can quickly decide on their interest thus helping to facilitate the next steps in a lease transaction.
1. Login to your account.
2. Click the 'my listings' link under the menu beneath the dashboard.
3. Click the edit link.
4. Click the edit button under property details.
5. Select the 'links' tab at the top.
6. Insert the virtual tour link/URL in the correct link field. be sure to add the https:// before the link.
A virtual tour icon will automatically appear on your listing details page below the description.
The general rule for renting your personal residence is, if rented for less than 15 days in a calendar year, the owner cannot deduct any of the related rental expenses, but is not taxed on any of the rental income (code section 280a(g)). This applies to rentals in the United States. CHBO always advises checking with your tax advisors on these matters.
CHBO is a marketing resource for your furnished corporate housing rental not just a static web site. CHBO works hard to give property owners and property managers a direct connection with business and extended stay travelers. CHBO develops relationships with business travelers who would normally not consider renting directly from a private owner and who would refrain from use of an unsupported free listing service. The marketing team at CHBO has spent years developing these relationships with corporate users and building a user portal that offers free project management tools for housing coordinators. This makes their jobs easier and streamlines their ability to connect with you. The founders of CHBO have over 30 years of corporate housing experience and business contacts giving CHBO property owners and managers more business connections than any other furnished housing web site. The CHBO team also works hard to develop additional business relationships through direct marketing to corporations, memberships in local and national trade organizations and exhibiting across the country at travel and housing related trade shows.
CHBO is a marketing resource and does not restrict you from advertising and promoting your properties on other venues. CHBO serves to increase your annual revenue by exposing your property a specific type of qualified tenant not generally found through other marketing avenues. Marketing tip: Keep your availability calendars up to date with all current and future leases. This accurate information is important to prospective tenants and housing managers (human resource directors, travel managers and relocation managers) who need to assess future housing resources.
CHBO is a corporate housing resource, not a property management company. The founders of CHBO have extensive experience in property management and corporate housing and have incorporated their experience into all the educational resources provided at no cost through CHBO.
