Super convenient --Fast & easy access to I-40 freeway, a couple miles to Coronado Mall, Uptown Shopping District, Theaters and restaurants at Winrock Mall, or bicycle a couple miles in another direction to local brew pubs, charming restaurants and eclectic shops in Nob Hill just blocks from UNM Campus and UNM Hospital. Kirtland AFB is ~7 miles as is Sandia National Laboratories.

Great biking roads out the door with trails nearby, public tennis courts- lit at night, Rock climbing gym or indoor target range ~3 miles with ABQs Best homemade pastry in-between them-- Daily Grind! 2 public golf courses also in 3-4 miles. Whole Foods is also 3 miles with Sprouts grocery only 1.5 miles. Several places of worship of every sect also within walking and others within a couple miles.

My morning favorite walk is along the grass of Workers Park to Starbucks, then turn and go a couple more blocks to Alvarado Park where the neighborhood dogs bring their owners to visit. There are several no-leash protected dog parks as well as many other open-run options in Albuquerque. Back yard is perfect place for them to sun-nap and have a game of fetch while grilling.

Madeira Drive is a great place to land while working and playing in New Mexico!

This property was amazing! I stayed here for about 4 months while on TDY at Kirtland AFB and had a great experience. This house itself is beautiful and was in great shape upon arrival. The kitchen in particular is great for those who love cooking and the living room was amazing for movie nights. Jann has done a great job of updating the house with great appliances and entertainment equipment. There is also a security system that provides great piece of mind. She also included a cleaning service that came bi monthly and they did an excellent job so the place always looked and smelled great. The backyard was great for relaxing on cool evenings and has a nice high privacy fence but also has a great view of the mountains. The location was great as well with multiple grocery stores within a 5 minute distance. There is also great dining, a Regal Imax movie theater, and multiple breweries not far away. The commute into Kirtland was easy as well going right down San Mateo Dr to the Truman gate. It is also easy to hop on 40 to head into the Sandia's or jump on I-25 to head North or South. Overall the best part of the property is Jann. She was amazingly helpful and kind and was always looking to improve the experience of staying there. She was very supportive of military members and would often drop by with gifts. Her property made the time in ABQ a dream and I highly recommend it for anyway who is TDY at Kirtland or in town for other extended business!

The house was immaculate upon move in. The Bi monthly cleaning service was easy and convenient so we only had to do minor clean up in between. The location from Kirtland is great, close enough that if you have a few hours of down time you can easily come back and have lunch or relax before having to head back. While the house is great Jann makes the experience. She constantly checks up to make sure we’re doing well and will bring random things for us such as food and even massagers. If you go to ABQ on a tdy this is the place to be.

I stayed at Jann's home from late March to early June waiting to move into my home..............I can't say enough about Jann and her property....She is an absolute delight........and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied........The property is immaculate and I always felt secure there. An added bonus is that she will stay in the back yard casita...............Providing both wonderful company and added security..........However she always respects the guests privacy...............This is an especially attractive property for both the Corporate and Military renter.....It is very centrally located............Base/Airport/ Downtown............This property has my highest recommendation.................You will love Jann

I was only a tenant in this property for about 7 months, but it was a wonderful home for the time in Albuquerque. Ms. Jann is an exceedingly considerate and accommodating landlady, going well above and beyond to ensure that my roommate and I were comfortable. The property itself is fairly spacious, with plenty of room for at least two tenants - three bedrooms (one currently converted into an office space) and two full baths. The entire property is appointed quite nicely. The kitchen has fairly new appliances throughout, with a gas stove and oven. The washer and dryer are a bit older, but still fully functional. The property's location is fairly central to Albuquerque, within fairly short driving distances to most of the things the city has to offer. There is slight noise at the property from the fairly busy street just to the West, but it is far from unbearable. Overall, this is an extremely nice property to rent and I'm thankful that it was available for my stay in Albuquerque! Allow me to highly recommend this property to you.

I rented this house for eight months while I was in Albuquerque for work. I can honestly say that this house made my stay in Albuquerque exceptional, and was the best housing decision that I have ever made. Jann was a joy to rent from. She made constant improvements to the house and always went out of her way to ensure that my requests were met. When I arrived she even gave me a personal tour of the town! The house is an oasis. The combination of the vaulted ceiling, restful backyard, and the morning light through the eastern facing window wall make this house an incredibly unique find. I love to cook, and could not have asked for a better kitchen for meal prepping or entertaining. The master suite was luxurious and relaxing. Some of my favorite aspects were the rain-style shower head, as well as the soaking tub -- great for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long week at work! The backyard was like no other I saw in ABQ, and felt completely private with the high fence. Jann even supplied wood for bonfires. The back table was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and read in the shade of the tree. The soft (artificial) turf in the backyard was my favorite spot to soak up the Albuquerque sunlight. The house is in a wonderful location, and very convenient to Kirtland Air Force Base (10 min commute to the Truman gate/flightline). The neighborhood is established and very safe. I did most of my shopping at the local Sprouts (less than 5 min from the house) and Trader Joe's (8 min). Knob Hill is conveniently close for restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. I found the best tacos al pastor and barbacoa that I have ever consumed at the taco trucks parked on Central on weekends. The Sandia mountains are easily accessible for hiking and skiing. I highly recommend renting this property from Jann!
