Welcome to this 616 sq. ft. 1-bedroom non-smoking and pet-free condo which is nestled in the lush green area of San Diego's safe and walkable Mission Hills/Hillcrest neighborhood. This condo caters to the longer term customer (1 month or more), and especially to medical personnel, visiting nurses and doctors, researchers etc. and is walkable to restaurants, nightlife, UCSD, Vibra and Scripps-Mercy hospitals, shopping, and several nearby supermarkets. In addition, the condo has great freeway access (within 1-2 minutes) for anyone traveling with a car, and who is commuting to business hubs in downtown San Diego, UTC, Sorrento Valley and other parts of the city.

A prime choice for the business traveler, perhaps on an extended trip who wants something more personal and relaxed than a hotel, a private place to call home, while here in town.

Our property is particularly desirable for medical professionals, and is a sought-after choice for doctors and nurses who value the convenience of being close to the nearby hospitals. (It’s literally within walking distance to Scripps-Mercy Hospital and UCSD Medical Centre - Hillcrest Campus.). It’s a light, comfortable refuge, in a quiet building with stylish, comfortable, welcoming furnishings, and a dedicated parking space in the secured underground garage.

For the vacationer or couple, it is convenient to all major attractions, making it perfect for a stay in 'America's Finest City'. Many find the condo to be centrally located to the heart of San Diego, just a five-minute drive from the Convention Center, Petco Ballpark and the charming Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. It's a ten-minute drive from the airport, and fifteen minutes from the beach and SeaWorld to the west. It's also one block from the main thoroughfare of Washington St, and nearby bus lines, giving access to all parts of the city.

Please note:
This condo is smoke-free and pet-free, so if you are allergic to animals, this apartment would be a good option for you. We often have folks who are relocating to San Diego, who elect to stay in our all-inclusive condo, while they settle into their new city, and figure out where they would like to ultimately live. The condo includes amenities such as high-speed internet/WIFI, HD flat screen television with Cox Contour HDTV, Blu-ray player, heat, air-conditioning and a well-furnished kitchen and eating area, for those who prefer to cook or eat-in. The bedroom has a small terrace and queen-sized bed and dresser.

This was our second stay at this property, and once again we were extremely pleased. This unit is located in a secure building in a residential area adjacent to the Scripps Mercy Medical Center. The owner maintains this unit very well. It is clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. The kitchen is very efficient and nicely equipped. Although there is no laundry within the apartment, there is a little used public laundry for the building residents on this floor located diagonally across the hallway from the apartment entrance which is the next best option. The apartment is located in the Hillcrest neighborhood which is inviting with an assortment of coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and other assorted shopping all within easy walking distance making this city living very convenient. Nearby and within easy walking distance is Balboa Park with its array of museums. The owner of the unit is very gracious and attentive to the needs of his guests when a need or question arises. He asked for feedback to improve our experience after our first stay, and I can happily report that he took our comments seriously and acted upon them which I noted during our second stay. We visit San Diego each year and will absolutely look for the availability of this property for our next stay.

Property was clean and modern and very well maintained in a safe entry door locked building. We stayed there for about 9 months while awaiting the completion of an apartment we were remodeling. The apartment was nice because it had everything you needed to get along for any period of time. It had telephone and cable TV service with a DVD player, as well as its own secure internet service. Sheets and towels were provided and the kitchen was well stocked with the instruments and appliances you would need for a comfortable stay. The apartment had A/C, dishwasher, range microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator and cleaning implements such as Vacuum cleaner, etc. A Washer Dryer, while not in the apartment, was available literally just across the hall from the front door. The apartment is located in the convenient San Diego community of Hillcrest with a wide variety of restaurants, drugstores, grocery stores and all manner of local shops where you could get whatever you needed just by walking to them. There was an in-building enclosed and secure garage and the Unit had one assigned parking space for your car. The community is one block away from both Scripps Hospital-Mercy and San Diego State hospitals so if you work or needed to be close to these organizations the apartment is ideal. The location is also convenient to getting downtown or to the freeway system so you could get to almost anywhere in San Diego in under 20 minutes. The owner was very easy to deal with and was attentive to any requests we had. We actually wound up extending our stay by several months while our Condo was being renovated with a number of delays along the way so we were fortunate to be able to continue in the apartment beyond our original time period. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone needing either a short or longer term rental in the area.
