The main bedroom suite has large closets and a private dressing area. The home has skylights, granite counter-tops, high quality appliances and linens, a well-equipped kitchen, full size washer and dryer, 3 flat screen TV's, Apple and ROKU TV devices, a radio, and Wi-Fi. The main bedroom has a Cal King bed. Twin beds are in the guest bedroom. The private patio and sun room offer inviting indoor and outdoor space with two umbrellas for shade and several comfortable lounge chairs and tables. The patio’s east wall is covered with Meyer Lemon bushes. The patio gas grill is perfect for barbecues by the pool. Walk to grocery stores, coffee shops, art galleries, restaurants, parks, unique local shops, hiking and biking trails and nature preserves. Bicycle rental is available nearby. There are 2 onsite parking spaces, one in the private garage. No smoking, no pets.

The house is in the middle of the Coachella Valley of Southern California, a desert valley that extends for approximately 45 miles in Riverside County, southeast from the San Bernardino Mountains to the northern shore of the Salton Sea. Population centers include Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Indian Wells, Bermuda Dunes, La Quinta, Thermal, Coachella, and Indio. The area is surrounded by mountains, causing the valley to experience warm dry days and cooler nights, most of the time.

The distance to downtown Los Angeles is approximately 123 miles. The distance to San Diego is approximately 120 miles. The area is served by four airports: Palm Springs Int’l, Ontario CA (1.5 hour drive), Orange County CA, and Los Angeles Int’l Airport (LAX). Shuttle, ride share or taxi service can be arranged for airport transport.

The house is approximately 15 miles by car east of downtown Palm Springs and 11 miles northwest of Indio. The Sunline Transit Agency offers commuters and shoppers convenient bus service around the Coachella Valley. The house is conveniently located near several medical centers: Eisenhower Medical Center, Betty Ford Center, Desert Regional Medical Center. It is near College of the Desert, Cal. State San Bernardino (Palm Desert campus), U. of California, Riverside (Palm Desert campus). The house is near major sports centers, such as the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, the El Dorado Polo Club in Indio, and the Shadow Mountain Tennis Club (just steps away in Palm Desert). Many championship golf courses are also nearby. Music, art, and business events take place year-round at the McCallum Theater in Palm Desert and at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The Palm Desert Business Directory maintained by the Chamber of Commerce provides information about local business. The house is near Joshua Tree National Park (1 hour drive), Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens (10 minute drive), Sunnylands Center & Gardens, a historic mansion, is surrounded by nine acres of gardens planted with more than 70,000 arid-resistant plants and trees. Visitors can enjoy a variety of free public programs, guided gardens walks, changing exhibitions, a selection of 20th century sculpture from the Sunnylands collection, films and multi-media kiosks. The area has numerous other parks, gardens, and trails where guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the desert and spectacular views from the surrounding mountains.

Details and Terms:


For each lease, we require a non-fundable reservation fee (credit to rent) of $1500 to hold a reservation. All rent plus the refundable security deposit and non-refundable cleaning deposit must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to occupancy. Refunds of security deposits will be made in accordance with California law. The specific terms of the tenancy will be set forth in the rental agreement. The cleaning fee applies to cleaning after the end of the occupancy. No smoking; no pets. Maximum overnight occupancy is 6 adults. City noise ordinance is in effect. We do not accept credit cards but can accept Venmo and Zelle.
