The outside of the building is gorgeous, with tons of large windows, a seating area, and plenty of room to walk around in the outdoors. When you walk inside, you’ll immediately be greeted by hardwood floors and high ceilings with space for everything you could need.

As one of many Vancouver furnished rentals, you’ll be surprised by how many amazing employers are in the area. Some of the locations right near the home include PeaceHealth Medical Center, Cascade Station Shopping Center and the Vancouver Mall. You’ll also be near a handful of health clubs and within quick distance of downtown Portland for events, dining, and a bustling nightlife.

This home comes with a large driveway (access to the garage is not included), so you don’t need to worry about where to leave your vehicle. If mice, broken appliances and the owner showing up whenever he feels like it sounds like a good deal, you can have it all for 5k per month! Don’t overlook the noisy trains 30 times a day and it’s almost impossible to get a moving truck into the property. We stayed here while our home was being rebuilt from a fire, the “retaining wall” bags of cement with the paper still attached fell over the owner and contractions showed up whenever they felt like it. When we told him he legally needed to give us notice- he pulled the I’m the owner card. Owner or not there are tenant laws!! We had to have an exterminator there twice a week to control the mice, than the refrigerator died. I understand that happens, we lost thousands in food and they would only pay us $400. For the amount of rent paid per month we expected privacy on the river and some calmness after our house fire ordeal. Not worth the headache.

Tamra, we are apologetic that we could not accept your request to continue tenancy and do understand your reaction to this. However, feedback from our tenants is valued and we thank you for yours. As the property manager, I personally lived in this home for 16 months and had none of the issues you have expressed here, other than the full disclosure of the occasional train disturbances upon your initial visit to the property. Yes, this home is near tracks as well as beautiful, private beach frontage on the opposite side. We did not have any mice issues until your residency, which was remedied quickly. We also did not realize you would have other people in addition to your immediate family living in the home. When the refrigerator went out, we replaced it within 12 hours of your notification to us and as you kindly mentioned, we offered you $400 for compensation, which we had no obligation to do. It is true that we've surprisingly had issues with the retaining wall, which has been much easier for us to address without any obstructions as a result of your tenancy. Due to possible safety issues we needed to address it in a timely manner. Best of luck to you. We look forward to inviting new tenants to enjoy this wonderful property!
