We stayed here from mid August 2011 through February 2012. From the moment I first spoke with Jeff (the home owner), I was immediately put at ease. You absolutely can not ask for a kinder, more receptive and helpful homeowner to rent from. Location was a key factor for us. We were in need of a home located close to both Egelston Childrens' Hospital on Emory's campus and Northside Hospital in Dunwoody. This home was the perfect location! We were about 12-15 minutes from Egelston and 10-15 minutes from Northside via 285 (with good traffic of course!). There is a post office directly across the street from the neighborhood, Northpark Mall not even a half a mile down the street, a Publix and Kroger's grocery store and tons of restaurants (Red Lobster, Jasons Deli, Bambinelli's, etc) close by. The home was professionally decorated and you can easily tell. There are 4 bedrooms total. A master bedroom and bath downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 is used as an office but has a very comfortable futon in it). All of this space came in handy when we had overnight guests, especially since 1 of the bedrooms upstairs had a private bathroom and the other 2 shared a Jack & Jill bathroom. Every other Wednesday Doris and her "crew" would do a thorough cleaning of the entire house which made it so easy to keep the house neat and clean until she returned (thanks Doris!!!!). If there was anything negative to say about our experience (and I can literally only think of 1), it would be that 1 of the neighbors would occasionally park directly in front of the house (and sometimes driveway) for extended periods of time. This may not bother some, but it was a little frustrating to us. Jeff however, responded immediately to our concerns, and personally spoke with the neighbors homeowner to rectify the problem! Overall, both Jeff and his home were an absolute blessing to us! We had such a wonderful stay that I actually shed a few tears as we pulled out of the driveway for good. Thank you Jeff for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely be in contact with you if we are in need of an extended stay in Atlanta again!!!!!!
