Steps to Complete and Submit Your CHBO Application

1. Locate Your Application

• Log into your CHBO account.

• Navigate to your saved application for the desired property (in this case, Property ID 28814).

2. Verify Application Fields

• Ensure all required fields are completed.

• Double-check for missing information, as incomplete applications may block submission.

3. Troubleshoot the Submit Button Issue

If the Submit button is unresponsive:

1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies:

   • On Chrome:
     Go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear Browsing Data → Select "Cookies and other site data" & "Cached images and files" → Click Clear Data.

   • On Safari:
     Go to Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove stored data for CHBO.

2. Close your browser completely and reopen it.

3. Log back in to CHBO and try submitting again.

4. Submit the Application

• After clearing cache/cookies, click Submit again.

• Wait for any confirmation message or screen to appear.

5. If Submission Still Fails

• Contact CHBO support for manual verification and assistance:

    • Your name

    • Email address (e.g., test@gmail.com)

    • Property ID (28814)

    • Description of the issue

6. Confirm Submission

• Only CHBO Support can confirm if your application was received.

• Ask them to send you written confirmation for your records.

ACH banking is typically not an option for international guests. However, we can accept direct wire transfers, PayPal, credit card payments, Venmo, or Zelle.  Also, ask your back about doing a SWIFT payment. 

Those properties not in the CHBO rental program require you to follow the qualifications and requirements by the landlord. Contact the landlord of the property of interest to get details. If the property is apart of the CHBO rental program it is required to apply then go through a background/credit check and sign/agree to rental agreement. Some properties require a security deposit and pet deposit (if applicable).

Yes, do not move into the property and do a walk through prior to accepting the keys. Report all issues to CHBO.

This contract is not final until all parties have signed the rental agreement and rental payment has been paid in full. There is a 3.5% convenience fee assessed when paying via credit card. Arrivals scheduled within 7 total days of lease approval are REQUIRED to pay via credit card or overnight a cashier's check prior to the arrival date.  If you are moving in after the 20th of the month the first full month invoice and the prorated invoice are both due to be paid at lease signing.

Some properties may accept per diem rates for the location. This is on a case by case basis and is up to the owner/property manager. Please ask the owner/property manager of the property you are interested in.

Some owners/property managers will show the property prior to booking. Please contact the owner/property manager of the listing and request a showing.

Here are the options you have for sharing a listing:

• You can share it via Facebook or Twitter. 
• You can take a printout of the property page to share with someone. 
• You can email a listing to others. 
• You can share a listing via Text/SMS to a cell phone. 

To choose any of the above options, just go to the listing's page and click on the blue ''Share Listing'' icon located in the top left corner of the property picture. 

 If no options show up once you have performed a search or you do not like the available options in an area, you can click the "Notify Me" button and you will be notified via email once more options are available. You can also submit a housing request form to get details on the closest options from the current CHBO listings.

Corporate Housing can be rented by anyone. Traditionally, it is for those business travelers using corporate housing while doing a temporary assignment or relocating. Due to the extended stay, it makes more sense financially and is more comfortable to rent a furnished home versus living in a hotel. The Corporate Housing Providers Association reports for the seventh successive year, relocation was the largest reason for using corporate housing in the US at 33%. Project/Training was the second most cited use of corporate housing in 2017.

Yes. Contact any listing(s) you are interested in and let the owner or company know you are a realtor. Ask them about working in your commission.

Walkscore - Walk Score helps you find a walkable place to live. Walk Score is a number between 0 and 100 that measures the walkability of any address. This data is provided by walkscore.com. It is optional to have the walkscore label display on the listing details. The walkscore of a property is displayed on the listing details page if the advertiser has elected to display the score.

If amenities on Walk score are missing or inaccurate, they can be updated by following these instructions:

1. Go to WalkScore Website and type in the address in “Get YourScore” search bar
2. Click on the "Map" button or map to bring up the big "What's Nearby" map
3. Click “Add a Place” button just below the map
4. Fill out the fields in the pop-up screen: category, place name, address, phone, website, etc
5. Sign in with either a Gmail or Facebook account – click “Submit”

To edit or remove:

1. Select the amenity to be removed on WalkScore Website by clicking the information button in the amenity details bubble
2. Click "EditPlace"
3. Edit details or click "Remove Place"
4. If removing, select a reason for removal
5. Sign in with either a Gmail or Facebook account – click “Submit”

Submit a Housing request

You must be registered with CHBO and logged into the website. Visit the CHBO testimonials page and click the, Add Text Testimonial and/or Add Video Testimonial link. Then add the text comment for your testimonial and click Add or insert the video for approval.

1. Go to the property listing you want to email on the CHBO website.
2. At the top of the listing, click the blue share link at the top left.
3. A pop up window will open asking for a few items, click the Mail option.
4. 'Email' field is for the recipient email address.
5. 'Message' add your question/comment here.
7. Click the 'Submit' button at the bottom to send.
8. An email will be sent out to the recipient with a link to the property listing.
