Corporate Housing By Owner, Inc. (CHBO) is a marketing and educational website that connects individual property owners, property managers and corporate housing companies with highly desirable segments of the traveling public both domestically and internationally. CHBO is the most targeted website offering fully furnished private residences to the general public for monthly stays and has established the “By Owner” corporate housing lodging segment. Exclusive to CHBO is the “CHBO complete” property standards program giving tenants and owners an essential tool for getting properties rented by establishing common expectations.
Launched in March of 2006 as the next generation of Corporate Housing options for corporate and individual travel, CHBO has reached millions of people through the site and exposure in feature articles in publications like the New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, the Denver Post and the San Francisco Chronicle, in addition to numerous other publications, television news and radio coverage. CHBO also aggressively works to connect with business travelers not just through the CHBO site but also through other targeted marketing efforts like direct mail, trade expos and direct sales.
When a renter takes financial responsibility for the rent payment himself or herself, then he/she is considered an individual client. These renters may work for a corporation, theater group or government entity, but their organizations are not taking financial responsibility for the lease, even though the renter may be reimbursed for their expenses. Individual renters are expected to pay their rent on the first of the month and are qualified by the owner before a lease is extended.
You must be registered and logged in to click. Simply locate the properties you like and click the link associated with that property listing. Of course, you must be logged in/registered to use the bookmarks option. once you saved a property, you can return to it later and share it with others. check your dashboard to review all saved listings.
In order to leave a review, you must register for free then login to CHBO. Register or Login then follow these steps.
First, open the listing detail page of the property that you rented. Search for the property from the home page, or from the top of any page. (You can search for the property using the search tool by location or property id.)
When you find the property listing that you rented, open up the listing details page and click the review tab.
Select the amount of stars you believe the property review deserves (1-5) and then write a comment in the supplied box.
On each detail listing page, there is a tab at the top called, Reviews. Click this tab to view any comments made by previous guests. If you are registered and logged in, you can add a review by going to a specific property and again clicking on the review tab. Not all listings have reviews. There is an indicator in parenthesis showing the total number of reviews from the search results and details page.
No, your information is held in the strictest confidence and is not shared with anyone. It will be sent directly and exclusively to the advertiser of the property. the information you choose to share with them is at your discretion. CHBO does not share any personal information with any other companies. If you choose to use the message system through the CHBO website, the other party will not get any information you do not choose to provide. We do not send you promotional emails of any kind from other companies.
Any payment you make for renting property will be strictly between you and the person managing the property. Many owners accept credit cards, and most accept checks, and other forms of cash payments. The forms of payments acceptable to the owner are listed on the property detail page under the rates tab.
On the property listing page click on the rates tab. each property has different rental terms and pricing determined by the advertiser. If pricing is not shown, you will need to contact the owner in order to get this information.
We repeatedly emphasize to owners to respond to inquiries within 24hrs. Unfortunately, this does not always happen. if you have not heard back from an owner within 24hrs, please contact us at 877.333.2426 or contact CHBO.

1. Login to your account at the top right of the CHBO website. 2. Under the 'welcome (your name) message at the top right, click the 'My Dashboard' option from the drop down. 3. Click 'edit profile' link under profile. 4. Click the 'change password' link and insert the new password into the two fields. 5. Click the 'update' at the bottom of page to register the change to your password. 6. Log out of the website and log back in using your new password.
Corporate housing is a multi-billion dollar segment of the lodging industry offering furnished residential monthly rentals. The industry is divided into 3 products: serviced apartments; managed private residences and by owner rentals. Traditionally corporate housing was a lodging solution that was only utilized by business travelers. however today, as the need for furnished monthly housing grows, corporate housing is expanding into a mainstream lodging segment. Corporate Housing encompasses everyone from business travelers, to traveling theater performers, traveling nurses, sports professionals, visiting professors, graduate students, relocating families, individuals on military assignments, extended leisure travelers, grandparents on extended visits, divorcees and homeowners displaced from fire, water, mold and other insurance losses.
1. Go to the property listing you want to email on the CHBO website.
2. At the top of the listing,click the button at the top left.
3. A pop up window will open asking for a few items.
4. 'Email to' field is for the recipient email address.
5. 'Subject' field will default with the property title, change if needed.
6. 'Message' is to send a comment to the recipient.
7. Click the 'submit' button at the bottom to send.
8. An email will be sent out to the recipient with a link to the property.
You must be registered with CHBO and logged into the website. Visit the CHBO testimonials page and click the, Add Text Testimonial and/or Add Video Testimonial link. Then add the text comment for your testimonial and click Add or insert the video for approval.
Walkscore - Walk Score helps you find a walkable place to live. Walk Score is a number between 0 and 100 that measures the walkability of any address. This data is provided by walkscore.com. It is optional to have the walkscore label display on the listing details. The walkscore of a property is displayed on the listing details page if the advertiser has elected to display the score.

Fill out the fields in the pop-up screen: category, place name, address, phone, website, etc
Sign in with either a Gmail or Facebook account – click “Submit”
To edit or remove:
Select the amenity to ber emoved on https://www.walkscore.com by clicking the information button in the amenity details bubble
Edit details or click "Remove Place"
If removing, select a reason forr emoval
