I highly recommend this apartment. It was our home away from home for a family of four for eleven weeks during the "summer" in San Francisco. Hosts are very accommodating and responsive (we had no issues - but some questions responded to right away). The building is occupied by friendly locals, which gives it a quiet neighborhood feel. While it is on a hill, somehow both ways, the bus is right there to catch in either direction. I'm a stickler for bedding, linens and pillows, which did not disappoint. The apartment is appointed with high end amenities. Beside all of this - the view is amazing and I am missing it already at my home in NY.
I stayed in the apartment for two months and was happy throughout. It is very well-equipped, perfectly located, thoughtfully and kindly hosted, and that view! Highly recommended.
We rented the condo this past January. It was a fabulous experience. I had lived in the neighborhood for 8 years before moving to Marin County, on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. Not to overshare, but my husband had a serious surgery in San Francisco, where the doctors required us to live in the city for six weeks and not have a bridge to cross in case of an emergency. It was a relaxing and healing environment for my husband. The minute you walk into the condo you feel at home. The huge windows draw you to the incredible view. The furnishings, amenities and even sound system are highest quality and upgraded as well as the bathrooms and kitchen. I love to cook and it was a great kitchen to work in! I worked from the condo and used their built in workstation adjacent to one of the bedrooms, which can be closed off. We also had guests stay with us who were very comfortable.
The owners are lovely people and were highly responsive to our questions before and during the stay.
The neighborhood is only a few blocks from North Beach and Polk Street, offering many restaurants. The property is at the top of a small hill so you have to be prepared to walk up or down - it never bothered us.
If I have the need to rent a place in San Francisco again, this property would be my first choice!

I stayed here for three months for work. The home is well furnished and has everything you could possibly need during your visit. Great walkable and quiet location. The owners are friendly and attentive. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.
