Lovely furnished room in Alexandria VA - Corporate Housing Rental

Highly recommended! I rented here for 3 months in order to be closer to my work at Fort Belvoir. The location is great and convenient: short commute to Fort Belvoir, with very short distance to grocery stores, fast / casual restaurants, etc. Also very close to Mount Vernon (closed due to COVID, unfortunately) and the scenic Mount Vernon trail along the Potomac. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and quite lovely. The house is extremely clean and the kitchen is well stocked with whatever dishes, pans, appliances, etc., that you might need for cooking. The owner is super friendly and very courteous. I had complete privacy and very much enjoyed my stay. I'll echo what Nicole said in her review: "If you're looking for a nice, comfortable, clean, and private place to stay then you've found the place here!"

I moved here in order to be close to an internship. Extremely convenient commute each morning made easier by the abundant parking provide on the property. It also allows for easy access to the grocery store, restaurants, and just the greater Virginia area in general. The house and is very clean and the fact you have access to the entire house is certainly an added bonus. Bedroom in comfortable with plenty of space and with good accessibility to the internet. Chris, the owner, is extremely friendly and will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.

I moved to the area for a new job and completely lucked out when I found Chris's listing. I didn't know anything about the area and it couldn't have worked out better. Chris is very thoughtful and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The house is neat and very clean. I rented a bedroom and had access to the entire house including the main kitchen. The neighborhood is neat and quiet. I was able to park off the street which worked out great for me. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within easy driving distance. All in all, I was completely satisfied with my time there.

I was looking for a place to stay as I relocated my family out of the area. The owner is extremely thoughtful and goes the extra mile to ensure tenant needs are addressed. The residence is very tidy and well-maintained, abundantly furnished, and stocked with full kitchen, exercise room, new washer and dryer, as well as a den and lounge area for tenant use. Owner is very respectable of privacy and was open to allowing my family members to visit overnight whenever they were in town. She is very easy to get along with and it has been a great experience being her tenant for the last several months. The residence is in a great location off of the parkway in a GREAT neighborhood with easy access to riverside parks, and route 1 (with countless shopping options, gyms, bars, Wegmans, Old Towne Alexandria, and Reagan National Airport). I will truly miss being her tenant and would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. I whole-heartedly, highly recommend this home because the owner is uniquely thoughtful and caring in a way that is unmatched in my experience. Five stars for Five Star treatment!

I have been living here for a year while I do contract work at Fort Belvoir. The owner is very friendly and is always ready to do whatever I need to keep me happy. There is no contract so I can leave whenever my current contract ends. This is a big deal to me as an itinerant contractor. There is exercise equipment available and I have access to a kitchenette with full sized refrigerator for my peculiar dietary needs. She acquired a computer table for my use and has upgraded the electrical outlets for my electronic equipment. I can park off of the street, which is important to me and I love to park and watch the squirrels play in the yard. The owner just reduced my rent because I'm such a good tenant and I find this typical of her caring, friendly way of doing business with her tenants. I unreservedly recommend this home as a place of peace on refuge from the cares of the world.

The best place to stay in the area!! I have been here for almost a year, and it surely doesn't feel like being away from home. The owners are the most gracious hosts you will ever find and the neighborhood gives you piece of mind. The room was comfortable and the bed I wish I could take with me!! Very private and quiet, and close to shopping. The Metro is about 15-20 min away and great for exploring D.C . This place is overflowing with things to do so there is never a dull weekend. I get a little tear in my eye thinking about my very soon departure, but hope that someone else can enjoy the benefits of this pristine palace. For the area, you cannot beat the price for what you get. Will be staying here again whenever in the city.

I lived in this room for 3 months while I was interning in DC and couldn't have imagined a better experience. The owners, are the sweetest people. They checked in on me to make sure I was ok, and always went out of their way to help me if I need something or had a question. They are extremely friendly and kind, and are very respectful of their renters as well! The room and the bathroom were clean when I arrived and I had everything I needed to live comfortably at their home for 3 months including access to washer, dryer, cable tv, etc. I also always had access to the kitchen, and since I had a car, I can attest to the fact that parking was always easy and convienient. I also loved the house because even though its so close to DC (only a 15-20 minute drive from the Huntington Metro station) it is away from all the hustle and bustle of the big city which meant that I could actually go home and relax. Overall, I don't think I could have had a better experience than I did! If you're looking for a nice, comfortable, clean, and private place to stay then you've found the place here!

As I was relocating to the area, I didn't have much time to look for some temporary housing to live in until my wife and I could make a more permanent move. I was VERY fortunate to find this place. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The landlord is very friendly, and goes out of her way to make sure that you feel at home. The rent includes everything -- no other expenses. You're only 5-10 minutes from shopping and restaurants, and about 15 minutes to the Huntington Metro Station. If you're needing a place to live, be sure to give this place a look.
