Once the renter's lease term has passed, CHBO automatically places the lease on month-to-month in accordance with the lease. CHBO automatically blocks the property listing calendar 35 days from the current day (today) until the renter officially gives their 30-day notice to vacate. CHBO then adjusts the property calendar to match the correct dates. The renter can do this through their CHBO dashboard, which we instruct them to do through email. If the renter thinks they will be here for some time, we recommend they extend the calendar to avoid an issue with new potential renters.
