What documents do I need to show proof of ownership?

As part of your Rental Program application process, CHBO requires proof of ownership. Your application will not be approved until all required documentation is received and confirmed by CHBO. Proof of ownership of your rental property showing your name or company name as the owner and the street address of the rental. Here are some examples you can upload for proof of ownership: 

 

1. Deed or Official Record

 

2. Mortgage documentation

 

3. Property tax receipt or bill

 

4. Manufactured home certificate or title

 

5. Home purchase contracts (e.g. Bill of Sale, Bond for Title, Land Installment Contract, etc.)

 

Upload one of the above mentioned documents to your dashboard under the Rental Program menu.
