Traveling nurse housing is typically covered through a housing stipend provided by the nurse’s staffing or travel agency. This stipend is designed to help nurses secure temporary furnished housing near their assignment.
In most cases, the staffing company includes the housing allowance as part of the nurse’s overall compensation package. Nurses can then choose how to use the stipend:
Book housing directly (such as a furnished rental on CHBO).
Allow the staffing company to arrange housing on their behalf.
Many traveling nurses prefer booking their own mid-term or corporate housing because it gives them more flexibility, comfort, and control over location, amenities, and budget.
At CHBO, property owners frequently rent to traveling healthcare professionals because our furnished rentals are move-in ready, flexible in lease terms, and located near hospitals and medical centers.
