This furnished garage apartment in the historic Westmoreland neighborhood has two bedrooms and one bath. Second bedroom is set up as office with a daybed that will sleep one person. You enter the property on the ground floor and take the stairs to the second floor where the unit is located. Property is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, many excellent restaurants and the Metro train to the Medical Center. It is about one block from a Whole Foods Market. Schools nearby include Saint Thomas University, University of Houston and Houston Community College.

Although we can usually get you into the unit the same day you contact us, it is nice to have a day or two to get the cleaning crew in to make sure the home is the best it can be for you. If you are trying to move in within a day, please call us rather than e-mail. The number listed is a land line so it doesn't receive texts.

One month minimum listing.

We do require a credit/background check which costs $35 and is paid by the renter. We credit the $35 to the first month's rent.

This rental includes all utilities, including Verizon 5G internet. The TV gets the local channels off an antenna and you can stream any other services you want. The other included utilities are electric, gas, water and trash pick up.

You can pay a refundable security deposit or pay for the insurance, your choice.

Just completed a ten week internship in Houston and the apartment was perfect. Plenty of space, quick to get downtown and close to everything else you may need. The housing has everything you need as well which makes the move and transition very easy and stress free. Great spot for an internship or transition. If I need housing in Houston again this willl be the first spot I look! Thank you!

I just completed a six month stay at this property during job transition to Houston. I have stayed in corporate housing many times throughout my career and this is by far the best. It is more like staying in a house than an apartment. It is a custom build with far superior construction and finish out than a true apartment. Very open, great wood floor, granite counter tops, high end appliances in the well appointed kitchen - a real espresso machine! The location is great, wonderful neighborhood right next to downtown but very quiet, lots of good restaurants nearby, and the landlord is wonderful.
