We stayed in Karin’s spot for a 3 month period when we first moved back to Seattle and were looking for a home. Karin was so welcoming and made sure that the apartment was equipped with everything that we needed, and it was. The whole place is fully furnished including a king size bed and since I work from home it was also important that there is space to set up a room as an office. The apartment is equipped with all the necessities for cooking and plenty of pots, pans and tableware. The outdoor deck has some nice seating for taking in the views of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. One of the best parts about Karin’s apartment is the location in Magnolia. You are really close to the village and can walk to all the bars and restaurants there as well as can catch several bus routes. You are also nearby the playfields and some of the best walks and views in all of Seattle. We especially enjoyed summer Saturdays with the farmers market also going on in the village. Karin’s rental is a great place to stay!
Karin’s rental is amazing! We stayed here when we moved to Seattle, and we could not have picked a better place! The rental is spacious, and furnished with great furniture and appliances. There is plenty of storage for your own belongings and lots of room to spread out if you are staying there with your family. It’s also very quiet and safe. The neighbors watch out for each other, and will make a point to know your name. They are very welcoming, and kind.
The neighborhood is beautiful, and Karin has a wonderfully landscaped yard with a beautiful rose garden. The huge deck has lounge chairs to lay back and read, or just relax and enjoy the Mountain View. There is also a gas grill and table and chairs for eating on the deck.
The Magnolia Neighborhood is full of quaint shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. The bakery and neighboring bookstore were favorites of ours. Don’t miss the Saturday morning Farmers Market, that takes place right in the middle of town. The fruit and vegetables were top notch, all grown by local farmers. There are hot food vendors and beautiful flowers, so grab a bunch to take back home with you!
The rental is also close to Ballard, which is home to many excellent restaurants and places to shop for unique finds.
With everything you could need right at your fingertips, Karin’s rental is an excellent choice, and we would recommend it to anyone coming to Seattle.
This property is located at a perfect spot In Magnolia. Magnolia boulevard, Discovery park and Magnolia village shopping places are at a walking distance of 5-10 min. We stayed at this place for more than a year. The place is fully furnished and you absolutely don't need to buy anything. When we planned for a trip, it also had a cute day-trip basket for our snacks! The place has a huge scenic deck with great view of Mt. Rainer. There is a huge living room and two bedrooms which fits perfectly well for a family. There is also a nice play room where you can play TT or pool. Thanks to this playroom, we have survived through COVID lock-down times comfortably. The house owner (and in fact the whole neighborhood) is very welcoming. She has also maintained the place extremely well proactively taking care of any maintenance needs. All in all, a great place to stay if you are looking for a stay in a fully furnished place close to downtown but want a quiet scenic neighborhood where you can relax post a tiring day at work.
We had a wonderful 3 month rental experience here! The flat is very spacious, clean, and provides a very comfortable living space. All the furniture and beds are very comfortable, and create a very homey feel to the flat. The outdoor space and deck is a great bonus and provides a breathtaking view of Mt. Rainer on a clear day. Karin is a wonderful landlord who is very commutative, responsive to concerns, and also respects your privacy. The flat is well equiped with everything you need, and there is plenty of storage space for anything extra. The Magnolia neighborhood itself is beautiful, welcoming, quiet, very family friendly and safe feeling. We feel very lucky to have found such a great rental and had a wonderful experience staying here!
We rented this place when we moved to Seattle and we were still in the process of looking for a home. And it was the best choice we could ever made. This house has everything you may need: wide equipped kitchen, spacious living room and nice deck. It has many amenities and you do not have the feeling of living on suitcases which is very important if you are going to stay somewhere for a long time. Everything is at your disposal and kept to a very high standard. You can just feel like home. Moreover it is located in beautiful Magnolia neighborhood. There is a large playground, summer swimming pool, plenty of restaurants and shops and everything in walkable distance. This place is perfect for staying with kids as it is quiet and safe!
This is a gem of a property in the heart of Magnolia. It's super quiet, extremely safe, and even though you feel far away from the noise and the bustle of the City, it is a quick commute to Downtown or to the University or to West Seattle. It's a quick bike ride to Discovery Park and an even quicker stroll to the shops and restaurants in Magnolia Village. Karin is a fabulous host: she has stocked the unit with every amenity you can think of, including a washer/dryer in the unit, and she responds quickly to any questions/concerns. The two bedrooms are large with plenty of closet space and very comfortable mattresses and bed linens. The living area has plenty of seating, big screen tv, and gas fireplace for the cooler nights. There is a huge wrap around outdoor deck for lounging/eating and a view of Mt. Rainier. The property (inside and out) is immaculate, spacious, and feels like home. The best part is how private and quiet the unit is---it's all on the lower level complete with separate entrance and private deck overlooking a lush green space. If/when I'm ever in Seattle again, this is where I'll stay!

Karin's place was exactly what we needed while we remodeled our own house - it's spacious yet cozy, has lots of storage, comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook and bake, and the pool table was an added bonus that my husband loved! The neighbors were very welcoming even though we were only there for 5 months and the neighborhood is amazing - very safe, quiet, walkable, and Karin's place is less than a quarter mile and an easy walk from the quaint village with restaurants, Starbucks, boutiques and an amazing bakery. We loved taking our dog and just wandering around town or strolling along the bluff to watch the sunset. We also loved watching the sun rise over Mt. Rainier right from the front door! Karin was always responsive when we needed something or had questions and was super friendly and helpful when she was in town. If we are ever in a situation where we need a long term rental again, Karin will be the first person we contact.
