Month to Month rate $2700 with 30 day notice. 3 mo rate $2600; 6 mo rate $2500; Garage parking fee is an additional $200/mo. Bi-weekly maid service is available for an additional $150/mo. **$1500 Security Deposit will be reduced to $500 with purchase of ARDP (Accidental Rental Damage Protection) coverage, at an additional charge of $3/day ($90/mo). Cleaning fee of $100 will be deducted from security deposit at conclusion of lease. If carpets/rugs require professional cleaning after a stay, an additional $150 will be deducted from the security deposit

Nancy was great with communication and greeted us at her porch with such friendliness, it felt like we were old friends coming to visit. The flat is airy, charming and so very comfortable after a hot day of moving people from one apt to another. Nancy provided incredible tips for meals, had coffees, teas, cocoas, snacks all for her guests. We felt extremely grateful to have found her in this beautiful residential area. Would recommend her and her flat anytime and hope to stay a few more time. Thanks Nancy!!!

I love this place! It is very comfortable, fully furnished with everything you can want for, a great fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove for those who like to cook, 2 bedrooms and a great office space for those, like me, that need a work space in your home. A very nice neighborhood where people are always out walking their dogs, taking kids to and from schools, jogging or just enjoying a pleasant stroll that feels safe at all hours of the day and night. Within a 10 minute walk to everything you can want including dry cleaners, post office, pharmacy, banks, bars, restaurants, UPS drop location, a local live theater, a very big Target store and at least a half dozen corner groceries and convenience stores. Leader Bar, only 2 blocks away, hosts a couple dozen beers on tap and at least 20 TV's to watch any sporting event you can imagine. A 15 minute drive to downtown and a $25 Lyft ride to O'Hare makes it an ideal location for frequent travelers that also want or need to be convenient to the city center. Only 2 miles to Irving Square, a great area for quaint shops, restaurants and a theater. Several parks within 5 to 10 minutes walk, indoor ice arena and tennis courts, and 2 Zipcars less than 3/4 of mile from the apartment. Roscoe Square, a 15 minute walk or $7 Lyft ride, hosts a fabulous Mariano's market with a huge variety of prepared foods, deli, fantastic produce section, a meat counter to make your mouth water for even the heartiest appetite, along with a very large wine, beer and spirit selection. Your host, Nancy Perlman, is the perfect landlord - always there if you need something but leaving you to quiet enjoyment of the apartment as well. The washer and dryer located in the basement are huge making laundry a breeze without the noise in your own space. I highly recommend this apartment!!

(Just as a minor correction to others reading this review, Jim is referring to "Lincoln Square" 2 miles away, not "Irving Square"). Hope to see you back in Chicago some day in the future.

Nancy's apartment was just what our family needed this past weekend in Chicago - well-located, with a nice and well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, a nice office with great wifi, and a pleasant and comfy couch on which my daughter and husband curled up on and read when we weren't out enjoying interesting restaurants in the area. The neighborhood felt safe, and the house was easy to find from the Interstate. Although parking wasn't abundant, there never was a time when we couldn't park within a house or two of the apartment. Nancy was very helpful and flexible about the timing of our arrival and quick to answer questions and help out. We will definitely seek to stay here the next time we're in Chicago.

Nancy was very accommodating, flexible, considerate, generous and responsive from the initial booking of her lovely apartment, through our arrival and stay there. The apartment is very cozy, bright, cheerful, comfortable (one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on!) and well-appointed. The pictures on her page are a very accurate reflection of the look of the apartment-- really a charming spot. Because of the rushed nature of our stay, we did not have time to explore the neighborhood but judging from the drive over, it looks like a great Chicago venue. The night we were there was the night of the last game of the Cubs pre-World Series play-offs. Nancy left us some Cubs cupcakes-- a most appreciated gesture. She was very kind and understanding about our indefinite arrival time and never made us feel that we were inconveniencing her in the least. She kindly offered to print our boarding passes and had them ready when we arrived. She is the kind of host anyone would admire and her apartment offered near-perfect respite at a busy moment of our lives (the birth of a new grandchild). My husband and I and our son and his wife really enjoyed staying there and would recommend it with great enthusiasm. October 2016

Since I first met Nancy and signed the lease, I've been impressed with what a considerate and detail-oriented landlord she's been. She understands privacy of the tenant, but is also there to help with any issues you may have. I haven't experienced another landlord who cares so much for the safety, quality, care and look of their property. We moved into the unit unfurnished for a year and it was an easy task to make it our own. The location of the property is perfect. Traveling for work, being close enough to the airport and downtown is important for me. This location is an ideal middle point. Another perk is you still get that city feel, but you're able to park and get around easier! It's walking distance to a 24 hour pharmacy, grocery stores, retail, nightlife, restaurants/cafes, dry cleaning, and salon services for men and women. The street of the neighborhood itself is quiet and safe. The apartment is fitted with the perfect kitchen for someone who loves to cook and the living area has great lighting and expansive windows with view of the nature outside. All in all, I would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Chicago. I've loved living here and only experienced great things with Nancy as the landlord.
