Terrific apartment - nice layout, a well-appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, bedroom is large (especially for DC), and the furnishings make it feel like a nice home. Most corporate housing is either sterile or shabby. Ira’s place is smart and comfortable. A great place to relax or have friends over for a glass of wine on the patio. Features like an exposed brick accent wall and natural stone bathroom really set it apart.
The location can’t be beat — five minute walk from Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Safeway. Easy to get to for meetings downtown, the White House, Georgetown and GW. Lots of great shops, restaurants, and gyms, including DC’s best yoga (Flow) are just steps away.
Ira is a fantastic host. Attentive but not intrusive and responds quickly to questions. This one’s a gem.
