We stayed in this lovely home for two months in the fall and truly enjoyed it. A "home away from home", it has everything you could need in the kitchen and baths, as well as wonderfully comfortable beds! There is a great screened back porch complete with big rocking chairs and a patio for dining or relaxing outside. The property is quiet and gorgeous with a gently sloping backyard that allows you to walk down to the riverbank and wade in. The owners take pride in what they have to offer here and it shows! The home is a right outside San Marcos, and has easy access to Austin, San Antonio and all of the Texas hill country. We hope to visit again soon!

I stayed at this property for approximately 4 days and could not have been more impressed. Not only was the property very well appointed, it was extremely clean. The beds were some of the most comfortable that I've ever slept in! Every time I went looking for something in the kitchen, there it was! Cooking a full meal was as comfortable as cooking in my own home. Every tool and appliance has been thought of and provided. Perhaps most importantly though, I was extremely impressed by how close the property was to both Austin and San Antonio. The combination of both a great location and true serenity is very difficult to find. I was able to really get some much needed rest and relaxation during my downtime. The owner of the property was really kind and easily accessible if I needed anything. I would highly recommend staying at this property, and will do so again very soon!
