I can confirm that all of these 5 star reviews are all warranted. We stayed here for 3 months while we searched for a home in the Portland area and couldn’t have been more comfortable. It photographs well and it’s even better in person. The space is well laid out and feels much bigger than your average one bedroom apartment. Honestly we were reluctant to leave! Washington Park being right on the doorstep is a huge plus and was where we took our dog for walks several times a day. While we lived there I travelled for work a lot and used the MAX line to get to and from the airport which was so quick and easy. I echo what everyone else has said about the heated floors in the bathroom, designated parking spot, convenient laundry, proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. This truly is a gem!
So if you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city that is close to parks, shops and everything this city has to offer, look no further.
Like everyone else, I can’t say enough good things about Larisa and the apartment. We stayed for two months, and we hated to leave! Washington Park, Zupan’s 23rd Street shopping are all right there. It is very safe, and the neighbors are truly wonderful! The apartment is beautiful and comfortable for two and pet friendly. Who could ask for anything more? The view from the terrace is unbeatable. Larisa is SO kind and quick to respond. She is the BEST! Don’t hesitate to book this place. Free parking in Portland is a beautiful thing. And included!
My husband and I stayed at this property for 6 months. It truly was our "home away from home". The apartment is a perfect size for 2 people (and our cat), the apartment is up to date and has everything you need from furnishings to kitchen utensils. Larisa is always prompt with replies if you need to contact her and made sure it was a positive experience for us! We walked to Starbucks many mornings (its literally right down the hill) and the Zupan's market is one of the best grocery stores we've been to! I started my days with trail runs in Washington Park amongst the amazing greenery and I really just can't say enough positive things about the location and the property overall. We never had to worry about parking since there is a designated parking space. The neighbors are wonderful, and we always felt safe here. If you have a longer term stay (or even a short one) stay here!
I absolutely loved my three month stay! It was a great layout, wonderful furniture and had dedicated and easy access laundry in the building. The neighbors were also so thoughtful and kind and really made me feel safe and welcome. It is about a 7-10 min walk to the MAX (perfect if you are going to Beaverton) and easy walks to 23rd, Zupans, Fred Meyer, Providence Park and even to the Pearl and Powells. I appreciated that it was pet-friendly! My cats LOVED looking at the birds and squirrels that are abundant in the trees. The view from the shared deck is incredible. Looking at Mt St Helens every day was awesome. Great area and even greater owner - she is quick to respond and always helpful. Truly a great summer!
I needed long term housing on short notice, and the owner contacted me within minutes of my request. Everything I was looking for was in this listing - close to downtown, on a major bus line, animals accepted, laundry facilities, and a dedicated parking spot. My goal for the 4 months that I was in the city was to use public transportation as much as possible, walk to grocery stores, and have a nice location to venture out from. For grocery stores, Zupan's and Fred Meyer's are within 1-2 blocks. Washington Park is just around the corner - a haven for walks around nature. The Alphabet District has many restaurants and shops, so I was not lacking for staples or discovering new things. Providence Park is about 4 blocks away and allowed me to experience soccer/football in the city, along with the 'tailgating' culture at all the bars, taverns, and restaurants around it - this was an awesome experience!
This listing's location was so much more than I could have expected, and most people that live nearby are professionals, so noise and foot traffic was kept to a minimum. It was also very nice to have a dedicated laundry facility in the building, usually open whenever I had to use it. The apartment itself was well laid out - you enter into the living room, with a lot of light from multiple windows and a comfortable sofa and chair; then into the dining nook and the well-appointed kitchen, with lots of counter space, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you could need; and on towards the bathroom with a heated floor on a timer - this was amazing! The bedroom was well laid out and had a comfortable queen-sized bed, a large flat screen television, and a walk in closet. And the hardwood floors throughout made cleaning up easy.
I would definitely recommend this apartment, not just for the location, but also for the ease of having any concerns addressed by the owner - my stay in Portland was definitely much better here, than if I had chosen a long-term hotel.
Wonderful place to stay with great amenities, well stocked Kitchen and extremely comfortable furniture. Larisa truly thought about the details and how the space would be used. You cant beat the location. The community is amazing and filled with some of the nicest people you will meet in Portland. The property is also steps from Washington park and the rose garden, which offers miles of hiking trails and recreational activities. You are also directly connected to both 23rd and 21st, which offer every kind of restaurant, bar and shopping that you could ask for. We needed a short term rental as we looked for a permanent place to stay in Portland, and even after exploring all of the neighborhoods that surround the city, we ended up staying in Goose Hollow. The private parking space is a huge plus, and you have very easy access anywhere in the city. Highly Recommended.
