My wife and I stayed at Ron & Aurora's place for 3 months this past Winter (Oct, Nov & Dec 2021) and it was a truly great experience. The house is perfect from the layout to the quality appliances to the spectacular views of the river and mountains and was a great place to work and stay while away from home. Ron & Aurora were great hosts, taking care of anything that came up cheerfully and promptly. They are the epitome of what a landlord should be even bringing us cookies at Christmas! We highly recommend their property and would not hesitate to contact them again the next time we stay in the Portland area.

We stayed at Ron and Aurora's house for two months this summer and it was perfect for us. The view of Mount Hood and the Willamette are amazing. Even though we've lived in Portland for years, we had never spent time in this neighborhood and now think it is one of the best. Close to downtown, easy to cross the Sellwood bridge, Willamette park right down the hill...it's very cool. The second bedroom was my office and it was a great space for me to use. A few things to know; * This house is at the top of a very big hill. We learned to love it, even on our bicycles, but not everyone will enjoy that challenge. * The freeway is very close and you will hear it when you arrive but it is not really an issue while down below in the apartment * Ron and his family live above and you will hear them going about their business. Luckily they are the nicest hosts you can imagine.
