Description

The Bear Necessity is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. We are located 1 mile from the Lake, 1.5 miles from Heavenly Village, the Gondola, and the casinos, and 1 mile to the 24 HR Safeway Grocery Store and Whole Foods. Just down the street is bijou meadow, which boasts spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Heavenly Ski Resort, Mt. Tallac, and Freel Peak. Paths right down the street lead to activities including a 9 hole public golf course, large family picnic areas, playgrounds, skate park, basketball courts, a 27 hole frisbee golf course.

Our authentic log cabin features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Both bedrooms upstairs have en-suite full bathrooms. We have one king bed, two queen beds and a bunk bed room. There is a large couch in the family room with a big fireplace and flat screen tv. The large deck in the front is perfect for eating meals or relaxing and enjoying the fresh air and pine trees.

Wifi and Cable Tv are included in the rental.

COVID-19 Update: The Bear Necessity will be following guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home. Cleanliness has always been a top priority and that will be more important now than ever. To help protect renters and the great staff that cleans the home, there will be a minimum of 24 hours between rental groups. This will allow a thorough cleaning that is not rushed.
