Because the lot slopes so much, the ground floor is fully above ground with large windows and full daylight. There is a large screened porch attached to the studio, which is for tenant's exclusive use, and which effectively doubles the square footage. The apartment looks into our shady backyard, and the tenant parks in the driveway at the entrance to the apartment. We created this apartment in 2024. The apartment has access into our shared basement space, where the laundry is located, and the tenant can use the basement space for storage.
