We are a retired couple that spent three months in Robert’s apartment which is as described. It was clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance to two Publix supermarkets, CVS pharmacy, Brickell City Center (a mall), Mary Brickell Village, many restaurants, etc. We prefer urban living when away from home and this was just what we wanted. There was no need to rent a car. We walked or used Uber when needed and never had to wait long to be picked up. Robert was easy to contact and work with if we had any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this apartment and Robert!
The stay at Robert's condo was awesome because the condo has everything you need and the view is just amazing. At the beginning of my stay Robert showed me around which was great.I loved the pool area and the gym. You can reach everything (supermarket, bars, restaurants, public transportation) within a few minutes of walking distance. I highly recommend Robert's condo, everything was perfect!
We had a great stay at Robert's condo in Brickell. The condo was as described, it was clean and had almost everything we needed (but no scissors - which Robert is going to rectify!!).
Robert showed us around and made sure everything was working before he left.
The views, especially at night, were great. We used the gym (which was usually quiet, no waiting to get on a machine or the weights) and the swimming pool (often the only people in there). Generally the complex was clean and well maintained.
I would recommend this condo to others. Supermarket just 5 minutes away, as was the Metromover.
Thought the Brickell area was nice, had a great meal at Lou Lou's (on Tobacco Road - I think) and also Thursday pasta night at Perriconne's was great value.
If you are looking for to stay in the Brickell area, this place should be considered by you!! Though it is certainly an apartment, the building itself feels rather like a five star hotel, as does the condo itself. The owner has spared no expense in furnishing and decorating his condo, replete with built in surround sound speakers everywhere that create theatre-like viewing experiences. As mentioned in the header, the place is immaculate, not a word to be thrown around carelessly but befitting this place. The views are outstanding with floor to ceiling glass that extent the length of the living and bedroom. The owner, Robert, was good natured, friendly and accomodating and though I had no problems in the unit, I can tell that had I any, he would have been most accessible for remedies.
The location was great for me, as I was visiting a family in South Beach and the driving time between both locations is minimal. I would recommend this condo to anyone having business in the Brickell area, or anyone preferring the relative calm of Brickell to the hectic Beach (also this condo is just a few blocks off Brickell itself so is much quieter in the evenings than Brickell itself, but at the same time steps away). I considered myself to be among the former, wanting a central location not necessarily on the Beach, but close to everything.
One thing that was very important to me was quiet, and during my stay here, I heard no wall to wall noise nor floor to floor noise. It was wonderfully quiet.
The condo is on the Miami River and in walking distance of a strip of decent restaurants, the Oyster Bar, and a CVS and a Publix are basically across the street. Very convenient.
I am trying to be fair to think of some down factors to appear balanced and in that regard can only say that parking for guests is rather difficult and that as in all of Brickell, a woman walking alone after sundown may not be advisable.
Certainly, I would rate this as an excellent rental experience.
Nice place to stay, (Robert) the host is great and helpful. If you're doing/seeing something downtown or just want a base that isn't on south beach, this is it. The fold out bed in the office will only fit one person comfortably, but i found it pretty comfortable. The bed in the bedroom is very comfy too.
The place is close to lots of public transport, but cabs can be a bit hard to find at times. Honestly though, you shouldn't need them. Trains are close and the free monorail is a ~10 minute walk. It's also not bad for walking. Downtown is about ~20 minutes walk away across the river. AA arena is about ~30 mins walk. Keep the walking to the daytime though, or go the long way; the most direct route to AA arena goes through some slightly dodgy areas... although admittedly we (myself and a male friend) had no problems.
We loved our visit and very much enjoyed the apartment. it is well equipped and a pleasure to be in. The landlord is extremely helpful and welcoming. I would give this apartment the highest rating. An added bonus: one of the best restaurants in Miami is within walking distance - The River Oyster Bar.
We enjoyed everything about our stay in the apartment. It had everything we needed, including a wonderfully equipped kitchen, which is really not necessary considering the abundance of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is situated in between the Brickell neighborhood, Mary Brickell Village, and Calle Ocho. The view of skyscrapers and the Bay are spectacular day and night and with the livingroom and bedroom terrace doors open you get a wonderful breeze throughout the apartment. If you like to work out, there is a well equipped gym overlooking the Miami River, free yoga in Bayfront Park a walk or quick ride on the free ?people mover?, and a favorite ? DAF (dance, art, fitness) Studio on Calle Ocho with daily classes. The owner, Robert, was quite nice and accommodating. We felt that our 2 month stay at his apartment helped enhance the visit and our enjoyment of the city. Without hesitation, we would stay here again.
My wife and i stayed in the condo jan. and feb. it is on the 39th floor with a spectacular daytime view of biscayne bay and an equally spectacular night view of downtown miami. it is within walking distance of many great restaurants in mary brickell village. also within walking distance are several publix supermarkets and pharmacies. easy access to the metro mover lessens the need for driving. the condo is modern and completely furnished. the building is perfectly maintained with a well trained and courteous staff. GREAT PLACE!
Hi Everyone, I highly recommend renting in this apartment. I enjoyed living here. Landlord was extremely helpful.
This place is a dream. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, just like home. The unit is actually much larger than the photos make it seem. The extra office nook makes this really comfortable for a couple. My husband and I spent three months there working from home and we had ample space. The bed is comfy. We hardly heard our neighbors – one time the folks upstairs had company, but the noise and the music were gone before 10pm, very considerate. In general everyone we came across in the building was really lovely, so was the staff. Even during the pandemic Christmas season not a single package was misplaced! The balcony is wonderful! We had some issues with internet speeds, nothing that we couldn't work around – also this was during the height of the pandemic when I imagine many were working from home. The building itself is well-maintained, the area speaks for itself. The host is absolutely wonderful! We would absolutely stay there again.
