My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 months while I completed an internship at a nearby hospital. This was such a great place to come "home" to after a long day! It's shockingly quiet and peaceful for San Francisco. It also has a homey/cozy feel, not like a sterile hotel or other apartments we've seen. It feels like a large space with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. We parked our car in the garage that's at the bottom of the building, and it was very secure. The building also has a laundry facility that uses a laundry card (no annoying quarters) so it's easy to do your laundry without having to take your clothes to a separate facility.
The location is also in a lovely area that's safe. We would often walk to Huntington Park which is on the other side of the block by Grace Cathedral, I walked to and from my internship at St. Francis hospital every day, and we would often walk to get dinner nearby. There's also a shop/market that's about 500 ft away that has all the basics and we could easily walk there when we forgot an ingredient for a meal or wanted to grab some late night ice cream.
It was such a wonderful experience here that I was sad to leave! The owner (Minee) is very kind, attentive, and quick to respond if anything comes up. This place is worth it!
Stayed this summer and the location was perfect for walking to work in the city. I found the landlord excellent and the place clean and comfortable. Easy to contact the landlord at any team and full laundry facilities in the building and parking for 1 car.
I stayed in this unit for 2 months while I was working in North Beach, San Francisco. It is a beautiful and quiet unit and is very spacious, which is hard to find in SF. The location is close to several fun restaurants and bars and is a short walk to Union Square and North Beach. The owner was very accommodating and prompt in responding to emails. Highly recommend!
My wife and I rented this unit for several months each year over a few years while I was working in San Francisco/Oakland.
> The owner was very pleasant to deal with and always quick to respond to questions.
> The unit is very clean and comfortable in a very nice building. The location at Pine and Mason streets is close to Union square, Market St and the Bart Station.
> There is a Trader Joe's about 7 blocks away. We were repeat renters because of the owner, comfort and location.

Reviews
My son stayed at Minee's place for most of the summer 2023 and he had an incredible experience. The apartment is fantastic (very clean, quiet and all of the amenities you need) and it is in a great location (safe, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and public transportation while still in the heart of the city). My son could have written this review and it would have been just as positive, but I wanted to write it as a parent who appreciated how attentive Minee was as a host. My son was finishing a semester abroad and was flying in from London to start an internship in San Francisco for the summer, but his flight did not arrive until late in the evening. Minee offered to meet him at the apartment at 11pm to get him settled in (who does that? Thanks Minee!); my son had some questions about the internet and Minee responded immediately. And our security deposit was returned to us the day after my son left. All in all, my son had a great experience at Minee's place and you will too. I highly recommend you consider this apartment.
