Reviews
This darling little house was the perfect port in a storm for a few months stay. The kitchen is a good size, with a full size gas range and plenty of counter space. Original hardwood floors throughout are nice. The backyard offers a respite to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night. The house is definitely older, with a funky bathroom layout, but is overall very charming and cozy.
The location is super convenient! A few blocks away from the heart of downtown San Mateo with tons of restaurants and bars, a movie theatre, grocery stores, plus the local train station. One note if you are overly sensitive to sounds the trains could be an issue for some, as well as the squeaky, older bed frame.
There were a few issue that arose and the owner Jackie was super responsive and dealt with them quickly. Overall I enjoyed my stay and had a great experience!
