Our experience at Mike's home was wonderful. We came to Flagstaff with high hopes of snow play and winter fun. Unfortunately, there was little snow to be had, but that didn't deter us from having a great time. Firstly, the house is in a great area. It is close to everything, yet feels "off the beaten path". We wandered the trail across the street and were able to find little patches of snow for my 3 year old to play in, which was probably just enough. We also found a little park within walking distance. The Grand Canyon was a quick 1 hour drive. The downtown area was minutes away. The house, itself, was immaculate. From kitchen supplies to linens, everything we needed for our stay was available. There was ample room for us, and we probably could have invited more. They had a Pak N Play onsite, which was great for my son. While we didn't use the back deck, it looked like it would be great for hanging out/eating on a nice evening. Bar none, the highlight of our stay, and the house, was sitting by the fireplace and hanging out. I loved that it could be turned on by a wall switch--and it actually provided heat. Overall, a great place, a great town, a great experience. Will definitely return--snow or no snow!
