Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland’s favorite neighborhoods, especially the section that is in the Overlook Triangle, and close to the Overlook. As you are going out along busy bustling Killingsworth headed from I-5, suddenly you are hit with breathtaking views of Downtown Portland and Mt Hood looking out across the river. You can also see Forest Park and the West Hills over the Industrial River area. As you curve around you see the arched bridges of Portland silhouetted by Downtown. People are walking and biking all along the way. You are in Overlook. Overlook is bordered by the Willamette River on the SW, the Fremont Bridge on the south, I-5 to the east and Ainsworth and Willamette to the north. It is just minutes to downtown by car of bike or just hop on the MAX. It borders Arbor Lodge neighborhood, University Park, Boise–Eliot and the Willamette River!

Entrance to Interstate 5 is just a mile away, as well as a New Season's Grocery Store. The bus stop is just a half block away and the Max Yellow line is less than a mile walk. Bike lanes in every direction, but if you have a car there is off street parking provided. 10 minutes by car (20 by bike on well-marked flat bike lanes) to St. Johns historic neighborhood, or the Albert Arts District. 15 minute drive to wonderful hikes in Forest Park.

Excellent experience at this property. The house is beautiful inside and out, and I cannot overstate how serene and peaceful it is. The house is situated off the street and warmly secluded by the most beautifully designed landscaping on the surrounding grounds. It's like a tiny zen garden estate, and you can easily forget you're in a bustling Portland neighborhood. Great for focus, great for relaxing. I've lived in many parts of Portland over the past 10 years and this is by far the most convenient little pocket to access by car. The neighborhood is also very walkable, a good little cluster of restaurants is 3 blocks away, and there are even more great options if you drive or bike a half mile. There's even a perfect little neighborhood stroll along the Overlook bluffs, which is not to be missed. I took this walk almost daily during my stay. The house is beautifully appointed with comfortable and functional furniture, clean design and beautiful interiors. There are lux touches everywhere you look, and each room seems well-planned to suit specific needs. The kitchen is an absolute joy to use, I was impressed every time I opened another cabinet or drawer and found the exact item I was looking for. Seriously, no detail was overlooked. The term "well-equipped" only begins to scratch the surface, it is apparent that this house was stocked with care and intention. The beds are two of the most comfortable I've ever had the privilege of sleeping in (especially the Cali King). I was in this home for a 3-month stay and it exceeded all of my needs on a daily basis. It was a pleasure to be here from the moment I walked in, and difficult to leave upon move-out. Krista is the greatest host. Accessible, helpful, and kind. It is clear she has her guests' comfort and security in mind, and it was always a pleasure dealing with her. She has spared no expense to curate a lovely home here and it is a true luxury to stay!
