I absolutely loved my time here and want to tell all my friends this is the place to stay for a downtown Ventura experience. • It felt like I was in a high Tuscany lookout peering over wide landscapes of orchard quilted hills, quaint downtown Ventura lights and peek-a-boo view of the ocean with palm trees. Plus, from every turn architectural details of tiled rooftops, arched pathways, spiral turrets, and darling paved patios throughout The Cannery in which this unit is located fill your heart with romance and eyes with charming beauty. It seems like I’m overdoing the description, but it’s true! And that’s just the outside. You get everything you see on the inside. • Staying here gave me a joyful discovery every day. When I ventured out to the area it was very convenient. I could walk to the popular downtown shops, restaurants and several major tourist attractions such as the Ventura Mission, Fairgrounds, beach and bike trails. • Though on 4th floor and quite private, the elevator opens right near the front door which makes moving suitcases or groceries nicely streamlined. I was glad for the gated parking which was secure and safe in a downtown environment. • The owner was respectful, prompt, and attentive to my requests in a professional manner. He anticipated possible needs and was gracious. It was a pleasure dealing with him and I felt I had a new friend after staying there.
