This property was recommended by THD while our house undergoes reconstruction. We moved in on July 10, 2023 and Jayasr was very sensitive to our needs. On July 12, 2023 we asked the property owner to send someone out to check the AC in the left side bedroom where my daughters slept and it was very hot and uncomfortable. Jayasr schedules HVAC on July 14th and July 19th, both times no one showed up. On July 24, 2023 I inform Jayasr of the sewer smell coming from both bathroom toilets and about the freezer side door of the refrigerator not working properly. The freezer door did not shut all the way causing excess frost build up inside the refrigerator. On July 25th the plumber shows up to prepare an estimate for repairs, no work is done but recommends replacing both toilets. Also on this day Jayasr installed a portable AC window unit only secured by a ruler and some taper in the back bedroom because the AC technician was unable to fix the air flow to the back bedroom. On July 31, 2023 I contacted my insurance agent to request immediate termination of the lease agreement because of lack of safety and security presented by the property owners for my family and moved out promptly. I would not recommend renting this property based upon the condition of the house.

This gentleman has been looking to get out of his lease the minute he signed. He complained that the AC was not cooling well enough. We had an unusual heat wave (70 consecutive days over 100 F) but the unit has been maintaining a comfortable 75 F (which is where he set the thermostat at). We had four different AC technicians to come and test the unit and all of them said it was working fine. To make things even more comfortable, we even bought a portable AC unit for $ 1,000 and installed it in one of the rooms. We secured the window door as well as we could with wooden slats and he said it was fine. He complained about the frig seal and we got it fixed in days. He complained about the commodes but when the plumbers came to repair, he wasn't home even though he was informed well in advance about the plumbers arrival and didn't have the courtesy to let us know he wasn't going to be home or we could have let the plumber in. He did the same thing to AC techs. We had to reschedule the techs because of these issues. As this was a very busty time for the AC techs during this heat wave, we had a hard time getting the techs to come back soon. And then he complains that things aren't fixed in time. He complains that the commodes smell bad but the plumbers did not notice anything like that. Ultimately, the commode bolts had to be tightened to make them more secure. The plumbers and previous tenants did not notice a bad smell. He expects us to get any issues taken care within minutes & unhappy when it doesn't happen immediately. It became a fulltime job to deal with his constant complaints and so we let him walk out of his contract.
