We stayed at Susan’s house for four months this summer while our house was being remodeled.
The house is beautiful and the view from the living room windows is extraordinary. You look out into woods, beyond which is a golf course, then the Willamette River, and then the hills on the west side of the river. Sunset is a really nice time in that room.
Susan is a gracious and considerate landlord. Any time we had a problem with something she was right on top of it. They live downstairs, so help was always there when we needed it.
The neighborhood is a hidden gem. You turn off 17th onto Waverly, and it’s like you’ve been transported into another world. It’s like going from the middle of the city to an island paradise in the time it takes to make a right turn. The time we spent there felt like a vacation.
I stayed at Susan's property during a job transition and relocation for about 3 months and it was a very comfortable temporary rental. Moving from out of state I felt like a fish out of water and Susan made it super easy to get acclimated with the area. The space and furnishings are elegant and well done. Although you're basically sharing a house it was very quiet with the rental space on the main floor. And the neighborhood is beautiful, and is nestled in greenery. Loved jogging the local streets and it's adjacent to a gorgeous private golf course. This is also a pet friendly rental which isn't easy to find when searching for short term rentals. The location is convenient to shopping and very cool local neighborhoods such as Sellwood and West Moreland. Not too far from the airport which was plus for me. I highly recommend this property!
My mom and I stayed at Susan's this past Fall, 2015, while visiting family and vacationing. Susan is a very gracious and considerate host. The property is located in a lovely high-end neighborhood surrounded by beautiful park-like landscaping. Though the house is a duplex, we always had our privacy. The interior of the house was well appointed, including the kitchen, so that all we needed to buy was our food. Portland and neighboring communities of Milwaukie and Sellwood are minutes away. I enjoyed shopping at the Milwaukie Farmer's Market after church every Sunday morning. This house and property provided all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone for purposes of business, vacation or looking to relocate to the Portland Metropolitan area.
This home is the perfect place to stay! Our family of four was living here for about 2.5 months while we looked for permanent housing in Portland. The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and welcoming. Susan was very considerate in looking after us, including some late night help to ensure we had a working wifi connection the next day so I could work, but she also gave us privacy. She was available when needed and very responsive, but not in our way at all. If anything, my kids wanted to spend time with her in the garden or patio. It would have been so easy to extend our stay. The house had everything we could think of needing, so aside from our clothes and toys we didn't have to bring or buy anything, including hand soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and other necessities that I had forgotten and would have had to shop for immediately. I was pleasantly surprised to find we could settle in a few days before needing to stock up. The house was nice and cool during the warmer days, and safe for our young children, who shared one bedroom. We found a lot of places to love in the nearby Sellwood, which has a lot of great places to eat, and the location was an easy commute to Clackamas. I don't know what more I can say besides that this was a really wonderful place to live during our transition to Portland, and I would highly recommend this furnished home to anyone who needs a furnished place to stay. It was about as effortless as I think it can be.
We spent four relaxing months here while looking for a house to buy in Portland. We enjoyed our stay immensely and could not have been more comfortable. The house is in a beautiful location and has really high quality furnishings and appliances. Everything in the house has been provided with care and attention to detail making our stay easy. Susan is a most welcoming landlord and we were able to feel at home here while dealing with the stresses of a long distance move.

I had the pleasure of staying at Oxford Ln for close to a year while temporarily working in the Portland area. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The property is nestled back near a golf course and is very quiet. I loved sitting on the patio listening to the golfers tee off on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The house is fully equipped with anything and everything to make your stay enjoyable. I could go on for days about how wonderful and thoughtful the owners are. They are very attentive, caring, respectful and helpful. Any questions or needs I had they were always accommodating. Even down to recommendations on things to do and places to eat. I would have loved to have stayed for much longer. I have made life long friends with them and could not make a better recommendation than their property.
