Michael is an east coast boy raised in Freehold, NJ (Bruce Springsteen country!) and went to college in NYC. Mary is a southern California girl raised in Riverside. We met 28 years ago in NYC and it was love at first sight - well, not exactly. (Truth is Michael wouldn't take no for an answer.) After spending several years living in New York City, we made the decision to move to the West Coast to raise our kids in 2004. Growing up in southern California - and attending college in San Diego - Mary always knew someday she would be back in SoCal. We finally found a place we could call home for our kids while enjoying everything that the California coast has to offer.
Why Michael & Mary chose Encinitas:
We fell in love with the privacy of our property and its unique French style architecture. We love the feel of being in an established neighborhood while also being able to walk to beaches, restaurants and leisure activities. The grounds are filled with palm, citrus, pomegranate and apple trees. Our house and guest house share a half acre lot - fairly large considering its close proximity to the ocean.
