The House:
Historic Neoclassical revival house constructed in 1912 and located in the City Park neighborhood. One block from the Lafitte Greenway Trail, two blocks from Mid-City Market and three blocks from the Canal Streetcar and City Park. Very comfortable historic home in a safe and convenient New Orleans neighborhood. Also features a newly constructed wooden deck with string lights, LION gas grill and sailcloth.

This is a beautifully restored home in a beautiful part of New Orleans. It has all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay in a desirable area of New Orleans. The property is walking distance to dining, shopping and the most beautiful park in New Orleans~ City Park.
The owner lives right next door in the shotgun double and is more than accommodating! Your comfort is always his first concern and has created, in the renovation of this property,a wonderful authentic New Orleans experience.
Access to downtown and the French Quarter are an easy drive or streetcar ride down beautiful corridors of the city. Lake Pontchartrain and the fishing community of Bucktown are also a short drive.
We stayed in the property for 2 1/2 months in the summer of 2015 and fondly refer to it as our "summer house". We would recommend it to all our friends and family.

House is very large, beautiful and comfortable. Neighborhood is great, with nice neighbors, and many amenities walking distance. Landlord lives next door and immediately takes care of anything that needs done. Very well managed. Would rent this again and recommend it highly for anyone considering it.
Wonderful charming place to stay. I recently stayed for 5 1/2 months while in town on business. So much better than any hotel. All of the amenities of home, as it is a home. Owner was very accommodating and welcoming. Blocks from City Park, restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else needed. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

This beautiful, charming home is a wonderful example of the New Orleans allure. Meticulously and lovingly maintained, any concerns are addressed immediately by the owner. The owner is friendly, outgoing, and diligent in his keeping to high standards of his property. The home is comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. Off street parking is a perk not often found in New Orleans and the private deck with a garden view is delightful! The location cannot be beat! Walkability is phenomenal - restaurants, coffee shops, City Park, street cars, shopping, and the Lafitte Greenway for your walking or biking pleasure. A very harmonious neighborhood of good people who watch out for one another. This one has it all. We highly recommend!
