I had a very positive 2 month stay. The apartment is more nicely furnished than any temporary listing I've stayed at before. It is spacious and fully stocked with everything needed for modern living. I found the neighborhood to be safe and it was very easy to get around Chicagoland from there. The landlord is extremely helpful and friendly and I enjoyed many conversations with her. The apartment is near a major interstate and a train line so it can be helpful to plan ahead with ear plugs or a white noise machine for sleeping if you're a light sleeper like I was, however, the noise is not overly intrusive in the apartment. It didn't take away from a great stay. Make sure to have a meal at nearby Owen & Engine. You won't regret it.
