Our little family (2 adults + 1 one year old) stayed here from September till December (moved from Germany to Seattle) and we found everything we need in this little cozy and clean apartment. The kitchen is small for a family, but surprisingly great equipped! We had the chance to use the bbq grill and we liked the outdoor area, which is kept clean by a landscaper. In the winter it is pretty shadey in this apartment due to the less sunshine and the upper deck, but we didn’t mind. The owner is a really lovely, cooperative, kid-frienly and helpful person. The neighborhood is so sweet and shops, restaurants, bars and cafés are in walking distance (5-15 min). We can definitely highly recommend this place!
This is a wonderful little apartment that comes with practically everything you need. The location is great - Fremont and UW are a 10 minute bike ride in either direction, the bus stop is only 2 blocks away, and the interstate entrance is only about 5 minutes through the neighborhood. The owner was always very accommodating when it came to issues I had with the internet or apartment in general.
A little clarification for those interested: the entrance to Unit B is through the back gate, and you live downstairs from the owner. This was never a problem, and the plus is that you can get help with any issues right away. Part of the back patio area is underneath an upper deck, so there is less direct sunlight for houseplants. The kitchen is small, but I was easily able to cook 1- or 2-person meals regularly throughout my time here.
I'll finish by saying that I was here during the worst of the COVID lockdowns, and between the comfort afforded by the pre-furnished apartment and the accommodating nature of the owner, I was able to finish a thesis from the dining room table and managed to avoid cabin fever. Ultimately, I would highly recommend staying here, especially when there's not a pandemic!
Great apartment and conveniently located. It’s backed to a lovely garden and is set in a quaint and quite neighborhood. You are within 10 minutes walking distance to a few different restaurants including some waterfront restaurants on the lake. I enjoyed close proximity to downtown, Ballard, SLU, and easy access to i-5 to zip wherever I needed in the city. The owner was very accommodating to my schedule and keeps the place in great shape. It is furnished with everything I needed, including cable tv! I leveraged it during the work week while working in Seattle, but I did fit my family of 4 in there one weekend! Highly recommended.
I was here for a summer internship and it is perfect for anyone commuting to Fremont. It is fully furnished and Toni is very friendly and accommodating. There is a bus stop two blocks away which is great for anyone without a car. The area the apartment is in is super quaint with amazing restaurants on 45th.
We were so lucky to have found this perfect apartment in probably the most beautiful neighbourhood in Seattle. Herbs and flowers literally grow on every sidewalk and the scenery with the city skyline is amazing (this can be seen after just a short 2 min. walk down the street). When we arrived, we found the apartment to be spotless clean with furniture and kitchen supplies in excellent condition. Additionally, the monthly housekeeping was great. Everything we needed for a stay of three months was provided: a comfortable bed, great shower, TV, BBQ, and basically everything one could ask for in a furbished apartment. The landlord was very friendly, supportive and eager to help us with anything we asked for. She made moving to the US from Europe easy and gave us a great start. The apartment provides convenient access to public transport (the bus #26, 31, and 32 take you literally everywhere) and it's just a short bike ride to the UW. Talking about bikes: she even organised two bikes for us before we came (since we did not have a car coming from Europe), which we appreciated a lot and made our life much easier. We loved the quiet and beautiful neighbourhood and enjoyed having breakfast and barbecue on the private patio while two squirrels were playing in the garden in front of us.
We would definitely recommend the apartment and would come back anytime!
This is a fantastic garden apartment! I was here for about 4 months for a work assignment, so finding this place was a dream come true! Toni was grateful to work with - she's kind and attentive to all needs. I loved being in a quiet neighborhood so close to trails, views, and shops. It is also very accessible to I5 and WA520. The apartment itself has everything you might need! Fully furnished with all kitchen utensils/pots & pans/cookware, cable, internet, and a cozy bedroom and living room. I definitely enjoyed the outdoor patio and sitting area looking out to her garden too! Everything was well-kept and monthly cleaning service was an awesome perk. I am sad to leave such a great place!
The perfect location and accommodations for a stay in Seattle. My transition from Virginia to Seattle was made easy due to the amenities in the property, as well as the hospitality of the owner. The apartment comes equipped with everything you need (nice flat screen, wifi, functional kitchen, W/D, futon, dishes/utensils, etc.) and is very close to many local attractions: Gas Works Park, Lake Union, Freemont and Ballard, as well as many great restaurants, markets, grocery stores, etc. Also, the apartment puts you in very close proximity to the bus line which will take you to areas like Pike’s Place Market, downtown museums and other attractions. Also, Capital Hill and the University district are very close. Furthermore, the Burke Gilman trail is one block away, and is a great for exercise and views. My wife and I also enjoyed taking my daughter to the many local parks and wading pools. I also really enjoy sitting outside in the garden while grilling on the charcoal grill – a great, quiet spot. I could not be more pleased with the accommodations, location, and host. My year-long stay has been fantastic. When I return to the Seattle area, I hope this is available.
I truly enjoy living in this apartment. I am near bus routes which connect me with downtown Seattle and within walking distance of many restaurants. I am able to walk to work at UWMC using the Gilman-Burke trail which is about a block away from the apartment. There is always a beautiful view of Seattle during the day and at night.
The area where the apartment is located is quiet and parking on the street is never an issue.
The apartment is clean and very homey. It is furnished with everything I need including great pots and pans, new towels, and a comfy queen size bed. I even have a large screen TV with HD.
There is a backyard flower garden which is very relaxing after a long work day.
The landlady is easy to get along with and is eager to make my stay comfortable any way she can. She has a great resource book available that contains things like how to operate the TV, DVD player, coffee pot, BBQ grill and how to turn the futon into a bed. It also contains current bus schedules, ferry schedules and ideas of places to visit.
I am so glad I found this place. It's definitely a home away from home.
Delightful apartment in a perfect location. Garden setting in a quiet neighborhood only two blocks from the waterfront and Burke-Gilman trail.
I lived there for nearly two years and enjoyed the close proximity to the office -- very conveniently located near key business districts including downtown, South Lake Union, University of Washington, I-5 & SR99.
The owner was easy to work with and keeps the place in perfect condition. She had it beautifully furnished with every I needed, even a bike for me to commute to the office.
I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to avoid stale hotel stays and improve their quality of experience while working in Seattle.

This was an awesome place to live with the perfect amount of space and everything I needed! The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and utensils that you'll need, the furniture is very comfortable and well kept and the entire apartment was clean and well taken care of. The bathroom is modern and great hot water in the shower. Additionally having the wifi, cable television, electricity, water and monthly cleaning included was a huge bonus and extremely convenient. Additionally the neighborhood is excellent; very safe with friendly neighbors and a lot of fun things to do around the neighborhood. I am extremely grateful to have found this great place. Thank you Toni!
