Would You Be Interested in CHBO Booking a Property on Your Behalf and Handling the Whole Transaction?

If you are someone who owns or operates corporate housing destinations, you probably have a million things you deal with on an average day. Everything can take up a whole lot of hours, from marketing to management and getting repairs taken care of while fielding emails from potential tenants. It can be a ton of work, and sometimes you might want a little help at your side.

One of the things that the CHBO Corporate Housing Real Estate Report looks at is whether current members would appreciate us offering a full booking service on your behalf. If you have ever thought about how useful this would be, you aren’t the only one. The 2020 report shows that about 21% of people would make use of this kind of service, and another 35% might use it if it were available.

While 56% would or might use this service, 43% didn’t show interest in the option. It still shows that the majority of people would like to have the opportunity to cut their workload and have time for other things while CHBO helped with some of their corporate housing needs. Others may want more control over their processes or have other reasons not to want this kind of assistance.

Whether this is something that will be offered or not, the demand is currently there. Perhaps this is because in the same survey participants indicated they handle almost all of the management of their properties. About 89% do most of the work on their own, with 14% using the services of a property manager at times. Others have help through family members, friends, real estate agents, and other professionals.

One thing to keep in mind with most of this data and the included tables is that things may be in for a change in 2020. With COVID-19 on the landscape, nobody can be sure how things will be altered. However, it seems that the executive housing industry is still going strong, and that isn’t likely to change.
