Having a profile photo and bio to your CHBO account is like having a resume so corporations and individuals using the CHBO website can learn more about you and feel at ease renting your property. This is an exceptional way to introduce your property to anyone looking to rent. While adding a profile to CHBO is your choice, CHBO recommends really putting thought into how you would like your profile to be displayed. When your profile is complete and full of great information it helps others to make a quick decision about renting your property. Making the rental process as easy and authentic as possible is key.
We have observed five important reasons to add a good headshot photo to your profile.

Customers that have used your service in the past will remember your name or company logo.
3.Consistency - Someone who follows you in other social networks will find, and probably follow, you in new social
networks and groups.

CHBO gives renters two ways to find the right property.
1) Email or call the property contact directly from the property listing.
2) Submit a General Housing Request in a geographic area that goes to properties in that area who have selected to receive and respond directly to these requests.
CHBO has created the general housing request to streamline the hassle of having to look through each individual availability calendar and make it easy for corporate housing renters to find the right property, in the right location, quickly.
General Housing requests are individual requests from potential renters looking for housing in a specific area. Rather than contact numerous properties one at a time, these requests make it easy for anyone in need of housing, to submit a single request and receive direct responses from properties that are available in the requested area.
If you receive a general housing request and your property meets the needs of the potential tenant you can respond directly to the tenant with your housing options.
Each property listing on CHBO has the option of receiving these requests with an active listing package. This property listing feature can easily be turned on or off by selecting “Yes or No” from the drop down menu when editing your property listing.
First qualify the request. These are emails not specific to your property but submitted by individuals looking for property in your area. Only respond to those requests that you believe would be a good renter for your property. Start by looking at the budget and dates needs. Remember there can always be some flexibility. The potential renter may be looking for a 2 bedroom and your property is a 3 bedroom, but may be in the best location so you may still want to respond to this type of request.
Second it is important to respond as quickly as possible. Potential renters who are searching now are looking for answers now. It is also important to realize that you do not have to respond to all requests just the ones that best match your property rental. If you feel your property might work for them you will need to login to your CHBO account, go to your InBox and click on the General Housing Requests link ( 3rd item on the pulldown), there you will see the inquiry.
You can call the individual, View the Details of the Inquiry and Reply by email to the individual from that page. Once you have established contact and they provide their direct email you can communicate using your personal email.
Nothing. However, keep in mind that the general housing request may still consider your property even though the rate, size of your property or area might be an exact match so if you need a renter respond with your property options. In this case, we recommend that you email your property listing to the request or even call the request directly if they’ve provided this information.
CHBO recommends you simply archive the request from your CHBO inbox.
Your property listing is in the requested area and you have chosen to receive them when you added/edited your property listing. Each listing on CHBO has the option of adding these requests to their accounts at no additional charge. The leads can easily be turned on or off by selecting “Yes or No" from the drop down when editing your property listing.
To remove your property listing from the CHBO partner sites simply log into your account, click on edit property listing, click on the property info/ rental rate tab, scroll down to OTHER and click no to the question "Place this listing on all partner sites". Be sure to click on the green update button and you're done.
Having your renter write a review on your property listing is very important because it gives other potential renters know your property has been successfully rented in the past and also gives a new perspective on your property listing.
To write a review:
Simply find the property your are writing a review about from the search bar. If you know the property id just type in the property id and click enter and this will display the property. Click on the review tab and click the "post a review" This will take you to the registration page. Please create an account (we do not spam) so we know your review is legitimate. Also, we recommend that you add a profile photo to your account (this will help others to authenticate your a real person)

Add Properties: Start by adding ALL of your rental properties into your CHBO Bulk Owner account.
Choose a Package: Choose 5, 10, or 25 active properties.
Activate Specific Properties: In this marketing program you have the opportunity to activate the properties you need to get rented now and deactivate those properties that are already rented. Turn on and off which properties will appear in the current CHBO Search up to the number of properties you chose in your marketing package.
Details: You can activate property with just a click. Let’s say for example that you have just finished uploading your entire inventory of properties to the CHBO account but you only want to advertise 5, 10 or 25 upcoming properties at any given time you can simply log into your CHBO Dashboard and turn on and off those properties as you need. Also, CHBO recognizes that having to update an external calendar can be, let’s face it, a pain. Simply add your .ics calendar link to each property listing and it will automatically update the calendar each time you update your property calendar in your management or reservation software.
Power Owner: As a Bulk Owner all your property listings will now have the Power Owner logo attached to them. This logo alerts potential tenants that you are an experienced corporate housing provider and by clicking the logo tenants can see all your active property listings on one page.
Yes. If you do not want to display the walkscore of your property listing, follow these instructions.
1. Login to CHBO
2. Go to 'My Listings'
3. Select the listing you do not want to display the walkscore and click 'edit' link
4. Under the address tab, there is a question, Would you like to display walkscore?
5. Select 'Yes' or 'No'
6. Click the 'Update' link to save
Check the listing if you have enabled this feature. The image displays beneath the photos.
Click Request a Review under Reviews (5th column from the left).
Enter the email address of your renter/guest and edit the comment if needed.
This will send your renter an email with a photo of your property with a link they can easily click and give your property a 1 to 5 STAR rating and they will be able to add their comments. The renter must be registered and logged into CHBO to submit the review.
The review will then be submitted for CHBO approval which can take up to 48 hours for approval. Once the approval process is complete, an email will be sent to the advertiser informing you of the new review. As the advertiser, you have the option to make a comment to the review.
Follow these steps to export or share your CHBO calendar:
Login to CHBO.
From the Dashboard, visit My Listings.
Select the property you would like to export or share the calendar from and go to the export calendar column.
Click the calendar icon and this will give you a couple options.
The first option is to download the file and extract the file in your calendar of choice. Read more about importing .ICS files into your calendar for details. The second option is to copy the URL and paste it into another website or program that accepts. ICS files.

CHBO offers the option to purchase an Accidental Rental Damage Protection (ARDP) plan through our partner, Rental Guardian.
If you currently require an ARDP policy and indicate this on your listing, please log-in and navigate to the My Listing page.
Click on the pencil icon under the “Edit Listing” column to the right of the page. Then click on the Property Info/Rental Rates tab and scroll down to the question “Do you require Accidental Rental Damage Insurance (ARDP)?” can select Yes and then be sure to click Update to save your changes.
This procedure will indicate that you do require ARDP by displaying the ARDP logo on your listing. By clicking on the ARDP logo tenants will be directed to the purchase form and select the appropriate policy as determined by you.
